Worship by Music and Conduct of Programmes
While the Priests do the prayers by chanting the “Mantras”, the devotees on their part, worship in the form of music.
Music is the inner or universal language of God. Hindu music is called “Sangeet” and is associated with heavenly singers called Gandarvas. The SAMA VEDA is one of the musical texts which had melodies and these were used in reciting hymns. Today, in Hindu worship, music consists of singing Bhajans and Kirtans.
In SSKT, there are Bhajan Groups, Thevaram, Dance, Music, Yoga and Bakthi classes conducted.
